Semi-sick tyres, also known as performance or track day tyres, are designed to enhance a vehicle's performance capabilities. These tyres feature a specialised tread pattern optimised for maximum grip on dry surfaces, making them ideal for spring and summer UK driving. While they sacrifice some wet-weather performance, some are still street-legal despite their minimal grooves. 

The Accelera 651 Sport is a prime example of a street legal semi-slick tyre.
